Sertab Erener is a well-known Turkish singer, songwriter, and composer. He was born on December 4, 1964. She began her career in the music industry as a supporting singer for Sezen Aksu, using the coloratura soprano range of her voice. Because I had already established myself as a soloist. It sounded like we were going in the wrong direction. Because of my status, I believed it was inappropriate for me to be a singer. After some time, Erener decided to accept the invitation and become Aksu’s backup singer because of her buddy Levent Yksel’s strong relationship with Aksu. She subsequently competed in the Kuşadasi Golden Pigeon Music Competition in 1987 under the name Sertab Altn, which is the name she used after her marriage, and she sang the song “Akdeniz.”
With Sezen Aksu’s assistance, people started to recognize the name Erener in the early 1990s. It was with the assistance of Aksu, Uzay Hepar, Aysel Gürel, and Garo Mafyan that she created her very first studio album.
