will.i.am is the stage name used professionally by William James Adams, an American rapper, singer, actor, songwriter, hip-hop artist, music composer, and record producer. Fergie was brought on board as a permanent member of the group after Nicole Scherzinger was replaced by Will when he made the suggestion that the group’s chances would improve if they included a female artist in their lineup (their first choice).
The song “Shut Up” and “My Humps” by “Elephunk” featuring her vocals became very popular online. This album reached number 14 on the Billboard Top 200 and position 3 on the UK Album Charts. After then, they came up with three albums: “Monkey Business” in 2005, “The End” in 2009, and “The Beginning” in 2011. (2010). On the Billboard Hot 100, the song titled “T.H.E (The Hardest Ever)” featuring Jennifer Lopez and Mick Jagger debuted at position number 36.
Other songs from the album, including “This Is Love,” which featured Eva Simons, and “That Power,” which featured Justin Bieber, topped the UK singles chart at number one and number two, respectively, and were certified platinum and gold, respectively. The record titled “Scream & Shout,” which included Britney Spears as a collaborator, was awarded seven Platinum certifications.
