Toosii, whose real name is Nau’Jour Lazier Grainger and who was born on January 9, 2000, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter from Raleigh, North Carolina, in the United States. He is best known by his stage name. Following the release of his track “Favorite Song” in 2023, which first garnered virality on the social media site TikTok, he catapulted to stardom in the mainstream music industry. During the early stages of his career, Toosii released several mixtapes, including Label Me Diverse, Hell on Earth, and Why Not Now, amongst other titles. With the release of the song “Red Lights” in 2019, he had his big break. The song went on to get millions of streams, which led to his success.
After that, on April 30, 2019, he released his Who Dat mixtape. This was followed by the release of his My Shit Now mixtape, which was comprised of six tracks and primarily consisted of remixes of famous songs, published on January 3, 2020. Thank You for Believing was Toosii’s eighth mixtape, and it was released on May 7th, 2021 at the latest. “Gratitude to those that had faith in him and helped get him where he is today” is what the title of the tape conveys. It includes Mulatto, Key Glock, and DaBaby, and it has a total of thirteen songs. His appearance in the XXL Freshman Class occurred in the year 2021. Toosii released a three-track extended play (EP) named Pretty Girls Love Toosii on December 3, 2021. Jacquees contributed a feature on the EP.
A little less than a year later, on October 7, 2022, Toosii published his fourth extended play (EP), titled Boys Don’t Cry. The EP includes his TikTok viral, “Love Is…”, as well as “Heartaches,” which also received popularity on social media. Toosii issued a deluxe edition of his extended play (EP) on November 11, 2022. The title of the deluxe edition was Boys Don’t Cry: Men Do. He then released a video to accompany the introduction of the deluxe EP titled “Frozen Below Zero” only one week later.
