Kevin David Sorbo attended Mound Westonka High School in Mound, Minnesota, where he was born. He is the son of Ardis Sorbo, a nurse, and Lynn Sorbo, a mathematics and biology teacher at a junior high school. His ancestors are Norwegians. Sorbo was left with a permanent 10% eyesight loss, weakness, reduced balance, and headaches after the strokes, which were considered to be caused by chiropractic manipulation of his shoulder releasing blood clots from the aneurysm.
