Jaylen Marseilles Brown is a professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born in the United States on October 24, 1996, and his full name is Jaylen Marseilles Brown. He participated in collegiate basketball with the California Golden Bears for one season. During that time, he was honored with first-team all-conference and Freshman of the Year honors from the Pac-12 Conference.
After completing his first year of college basketball, Brown entered the 2016 NBA draft and was picked by the Celtics as the third overall choice.
