We stopped viewing them just in terms of their role in our lives. Even though they were near us, we were still unaware of them. That served as the point of departure.
It is common for middle-aged women to be easily pigeonholed; they are not shown as multifaceted; we sought to demonstrate that middle-aged women also possess many identities inside the same individual. Dušan Zorić and Matija Gluščević, the filmmakers of the film Have you seen this lady?, which is now competing in the Settimana della Critica at the Venice Film Festival, share with Fred their desire to produce a short film about the identity of a woman and their decision to expand it into an entire movie. The film describes the circumstances in which women in Serbia find themselves and their perspectives on their identities.

Draginja, the protagonist of this ever-changing story, is a door-to-door vacuum cleaner seller whose world is disrupted when she comes across a dead body while doing her rounds. Ksenija Marinkovic provides a brave and extraordinary performance as Draginja, the protagonist of this story. Venice Critics Week, now in its 37th edition, has revealed the lineup for 2022. From the 31st of August to the 10th of September, a parallel section at Venice is mainly dedicated to the first and second films.
