Demolition, parachuting, unarmed fighting, evasive driving, and trauma medic were some of the skills he learned while working as a military survival teacher.

In the course of this period, he was involved in an accident that resulted in a spinal injury. He needed to take medicine and participate in therapy to recuperate from the injuries. When he climbed Mount Ama Dablam in 1997, he made history by being the youngest British person to accomplish this accomplishment. On the 16th of May, 1998, he ascended Mount Everest and entered his name into the “Guinness Book of Records.” He had been climbing in the Himalayan Mountains of Sikkim and West Bengal before to his achievement.

The year 2000 was the year that he led a group of people on jet skis to complete a round of the United Kingdom as part of an effort to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). This voyage was a pioneering endeavor, and it took a total of thirty days to complete. 2000 was the year that saw the publication of his first book, titled “The Kid Who Climbed Everest.” The route that he took to reach the summit of the mountain was detailed in the book.

During the year 2005, he led a group of people on an adventure that included paramotoring over Angel Falls, which at the time was the tallest waterfall in the world.
