Thuy Thi Thu Tran, better known by his mononym, Thuy (stylized in lowercase), is a Vietnamese American singer and songwriter who now resides in Los Angeles, California. Having released two extended plays (EPs), Thuy is an independent musician. Although Thuy was born in Stockton, California, to parents who were refugees from Vietnam, he spent his childhood in Newark, which is located in the East Bay area of Northern California.
