Allison Fisher Bio

Having been born on the 24th of February in 1968, Allison Fisher MBE is a professional pool player from England who has also played snooker professionally. Fisher was born in Cheshunt on February 24, 1968. He spent his childhood in Tonbridge, Kent, and eventually moved to Peacehaven, East Sussex, until he reached adulthood. Her first game of pool was when she was seven years old. When she was 17 years old, she won her first world championship. To this day, she has won eleven global championships in addition to more than eighty national wins.

Her efforts to qualify for the leading Men’s Snooker Tour, which consisted of around 128 players at the time, were unsuccessful throughout the decade of the 1980s. She made several different attempts to qualify for the tour. However, by 1991, the tour had undergone significant changes, and the only thing players needed to do to transition to a “professional” status on the primary circuit was to pay an admission fee. More than five hundred participants participated in the qualifying rounds for the ranking events as a result of this.

Roger Garrett defeated Fisher with a score of 10–4 in the fourth round of qualifying for the 1994 World Championship. Fisher ultimately advanced to the final round. The year 1997 was the year when she was no longer considered a professional since she could not go to higher positions on the ranking lists. She traveled to the United States to compete on the Women’s Professional Basketball Association Tour because she did not get the same respect as the male players.

She officially endorsed the Delta-13 billiard rack on March 18, 2009, and has her signature series. It took little time for Fisher to establish herself as a formidable player in the pool world; she won just the second event she participated in. She has an unrivaled record, having won over 60 global Professional Basketball Association titles as of 2021, including four international 9-Ball championships.

During the time that she has been away, she has also been the player who has earned the most money on many occasions. This includes both male and female players. The Matchroom sports organization invited her to participate in the Matchroom snooker league. Additionally, she was asked to compete in the Mosconi Cup in 1994, which Europe ultimately lost to Team USA by a score of 16:12.

Between September 1996 and June 2001, she was the highest-ranked player on the Women’s Professional Billiards Association (WPBA) circuit. She continued to hold this position annually from 2002 to 2007. The Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame honored Fisher with an induction in 2009.

“the Duchess of Doom” was Fisher’s moniker, and she developed a notoriety that was comparable to that of Phil Taylor, who won the darts world championship sixteen times, and Joe Davis, Steve Davis, and Stephen Hendry, who were snooker players in the 1930s and 1980s–1990s, respectively. During the 2000/2001 season, she won eight major professional pool events, making it her most successful season to date.

Fish was the player who won the most money during the 2005 season, with a total of 111,000 pounds. In 2007, she was also ranked number one in the P&B “Fans’ Top 20 Favorite Players” poll for that year. In addition, she was named the female Player of the Year by all three central pool publications: Billiards Digest, Pool & Billiard Magazine, and InsidePOOL Magazine. Shane Van Boening was the male co-recipient of the honor in each of these publications.

In the twelve years spanning from 1996 to 2007, she has been named the Best Female Player of the Year eleven times, including six years from 2002 to 2007. The 2022 New Year’s Honours included Fisher’s appointment as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his contributions to the sporting world, with many titles in both pool and snooker.

A legend in the world of professional billiards, Allison Fisher, is a household name. The combination of her upbeat demeanor and contagious charm is what motivates a significant number of people. According to the records, she is one of the players in the world of the pool who brings in the most money. She became a professional pool and snooker player after winning her first international competition when she was just 17 years old. She went on to become a professional tournament winner.

She has triumphed in an astounding number of tournaments, totaling eighty, and has won eleven international crowns. All of her achievements in the sport of snooker have been rather remarkable. During the early stages of her competition versus Fisher, Easton only managed to rack up one rack. Following this, Fisher made great strides forward and reached the hill first. With the (alternate) break, Easton won her second game at 7-1, and then, off Fisher’s break at 7-2, she won another game before Fisher finished it off.

Easton is not some beautiful kid who is at the tables for the optics of welcoming a younger generation, according to the testimonies of several WPBA rivals. Instead, Easton is a good player. During her match against Fisher, she displayed why she was invited to this professional tournament. She did so by selecting and executing shots with great precision and maintaining incredible calm throughout the match.

The commentators on the live broadcast, Lonnie Fox-Raymond, and Angela Janic, brought up the fact that while it was not explicitly mentioned, it is evident that Easton will be “coming for” Fisher at some time in the future, sooner than one would anticipate, to challenge her for the top place on tour. Allison Fisher, in the meanwhile, engaged in her first double-hill fight, which was against Margaret Fefilova. Before this, she had only conceded a few racks to her first two opponents, one to Laura Smith and one to Shanelle Lorraine.
