The Tri-City ValleyCats (sometimes known as the ‘Cats) are a professional independent baseball club located in Troy, New York. They compete in the New York State League. Bruno Stadium in 2008, with the Valley Cats serving as hosts. The game was contested between teams that were made up of affiliates of clubs from the National League (NL) and the American League (AL).
The ValleyCats, who are minor league affiliates of the Houston Astros of the National League, were a member of the NL squad.
