Travis Fimmel, an Australian actor and model, was born on July 15, 1979. He is most known for his roles as Ragnar Lothbrok in the History Channel television series Vikings (2013–2017) and Anduin Lothar in the Warcraft live-action adaption (2016). He starred in Raised by Wolves, a science fiction series, in 2020. Fimmel was born in Victoria, Australia, in the town of Echuca. He grew up on a dairy farm near Lockington with a total area of 5,500 acres. Fimmel starred in Warcraft (2016), a live-action film version of the World of Warcraft computer game, playing military commander Anduin Lothar. While doing one of his own stunts, a horse scared by a wind fan crashed on Fimmel, but he was unharmed.

It is based on the true storey of 105 Australian soldiers and three New Zealand soldiers who, on August 17, 1966, in a rubber plantation near Nui Dat, beat an estimated 2,000 North Vietnamese infantry.
In the independent film Dreamland, he co-stars with fellow Aussie Margot Robbie. The storey is set during the Dust Bowl in the 1930s and follows a teenage kid on his mission to apprehend a fugitive bank robber and claim a bounty in order to rescue the family farm.
