Raymond L. Conner is a retired American businessman who was born in 1954 or 1955. He previously held the positions of vice chairman of The Boeing Company and president and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Raymond L. Conner just resigned from his business career. Conner served as a student at Highline High School when he was growing up in Burien, Washington.

Other positions that Conner has held include vice president of the Propulsion Systems Division at Boeing, director of Finance and Information Systems for the Materiel Division of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, deputy director of Major Outside Production and Program Participants, and director of International Business Operations, both of which are located in the Materiel Division.
1977 was the year when Conner started working at the business as a technician on the 727 program. Both Adient (since October 31, 2016) and Alaska Air Group (since 2018) have appointed Conner to their respective boards of directors. Before the formation of Adient in 2016, he served as a board member of Johnson Controls, where he was responsible for overseeing the automotive seats and interior divisions.
This is the moment when Conner joined the board of directors for Adient. Several high schools, including Williamsport, Seeger, LaVille, Benton Central, and Lafayette Jefferson, were among many who benefited from Mike’s legendary coaching career. Following his election to the Warren County REMC Board of Directors in 1986, Mike has been serving as the Board President since 2008.
As part of his dedication, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Wabash Valley Power Association since 2005, and he served as President of the organization in both 2013 and 2014. In addition to that, Mike was the President of the Board of Directors for the Benton Community School Corporation.
Michael was a passionate member of Connection Point Church and the American Angus Association. In addition, he was an avid supporter of Purdue Sports and the Chicago Cubs. Mike’s interests encompassed both of these organizations. His children, Amy (Greg) Allison, Gary (Jessica) Conner, and Rachel (Mike) Dukes, as well as his six grandkids, Nathan, Ryan, Carter, Connor, Calvin, and Caleb, as well as his three siblings, Penny (Harry) Dunwoody, Jan Conner, and Chuck (Dru) Conner, as well as a large number of nieces and nephews, are among those who inherit his legacy.

The Boeing Company appointed Mr. Conner to the position of vice chairman from 2013 to 2017, and he also served as president and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes from 2012 until 2016.
His last position was with Boeing Commercial Airplanes, where he was in charge of sales, marketing, and commercial aviation services responsibilities. His prior positions include vice president of sales for Boeing Commercial Airplanes and vice president and general manager of Supply Chain Management and Operations for The Boeing Company.
