Owen Schmitt is a former fullback who played in American football. He was born on February 13, 1985. In the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft, he was selected by the Seattle Seahawks to join their team. He attended West Virginia University, where he participated in collegiate football. He had previously participated in athletics at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls before joining the Mountaineers.
