It gained “Gold” status in the United Kingdom and sold more than 6 million copies in the United States. He started the internet-based alternative project project ’58’ in 2000. He established this with Bucket Baker, Dave Darling, and Steve Gibb. Diet for a New America, the group’s first album, and Piece of Candy, a single, were both released.He travelled about a lot as a youngster, living in Jerome, Idaho, where he developed criminal tendencies that included theft, drug sales, and breaking into neighbours’ houses. He changed his name to Nikki Sixx and began studying bass guitar at this time.
He relocated to Los Angeles when he was 17 and performed a variety of odd jobs there, such as selling vacuum cleaners and stocking shelves at a liquor shop. He was lured to the concept of playing in a band and ultimately joined the ensemble “Sister.”
