Mo Willems is a well-known American entertainer, animator, voice actor, and author of children’s books. He was born on February 11, 1968 in the United States. There are several projects that he has worked on, such as the popular children’s book series Elephant and Piggie, the animated television series Sheep in the Big City for Cartoon Network, and his work on Sesame Street and The Off-Beats.

Subsequently, he was responsible for the production of two animated television series: Sheep in the Big City for Cartoon Network and The Off-Beats for Nickelodeon networks.
Sheep in the Big City was a hit with the reviewers, but it was eventually unable to garner a significant number of viewers, which led to its cancellation after just two seasons. Later in his career, Willems served as the chief writer for the first four seasons of Codename: Kids Next Door, which was developed by Tom Warburton, who was also one of Willems’ coworkers from Sheep. It was in 2014 that Goodreads bestowed upon The Pigeon Needs a Bath the title of Best Picture Book. In 2016, Goodreads acknowledged The Thank You Book with the same honor that it had previously received. The work that Willems did on Sesame Street between the years 1995 and 2001 earned him the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Children’s Series a total of six times.
