Lacey Chabert became famous after playing the role of “Claudia Salinger” on the television program “Party of Five,” and in the year 1994, she was recognized as one of the most talented child actors in the United States. She began by accepting offers to do voice parts and slowly worked her way through the ranks of the film business. She then went on to feature in a number of films, both as the main character and in supporting roles in a variety of flicks.

Her versatility allowed her to get work with recognizable companies such as “DC Comics,” “Nickelodeon,” and “Hallmark,” among others. As a young girl, Lacey Chabert would practice her singing in front of the mirror. She and her sisters participated in a variety of stage plays and singing programs, and she had a longtime ambition to work in the entertainment industry, namely in the performing arts. Following that, she had roles in movies such as “Lost in Space,” “Mean Girls,” “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past,” and “Christian Mingle.”

Lacey Nicole Chabert was brought into the world on September 30th, 1982, in the little town of Purvis, Mississippi, by her parents, Julie and Tony Chabert. Her mother is mostly of Scottish and Italian descent, while her father is primarily of Cajun and English origin. Growing up, she was one of three children, with Wendy and Chrissy as her elder sisters and her brother on the lower end of the age spectrum. Her father was a maintenance agent for an oil company, where he worked for many years. She attended a traditional education but spent the rest of her childhood with her siblings exploring the woods around their home.

She competed in the “World’s Our Little Miss Scholarship Competition” in 1985 and emerged victorious, earning the title of “World’s Baby Petite.” This was by no means the only thing she had achieved. She was on vacation in New York City in 1992 when she caught the attention of a Broadway production firm, which ultimately led to her landing the part of Cosette in the musical “Les Miserables.” She played the part in a number of different theatres around the country for a whole year. Her performance as “Cosette” in the play opened many doors of opportunity for her in the acting world.

Even though she was only 11 years old at the time, she was given the opportunity to lend her voice to projects such as “Best Learning Songs Video Ever!” and “Best Busy People Video Ever!” During the same year, she made her debut in the role of “Baby June Howick” in the musical drama “Gypsy.” In the year 1994, she made an appearance in the videos titled “Best Silly Stories and Songs Video Ever!” and “Best Sing-Along Mother Goose Video Ever!”

She became well-known after landing the main role of “Claudia Salinger” in the adolescent drama “Party of Five,” in which she played a talented orphan violinist who was seeking to find her way to stardom. This role catapulted her to the forefront of the entertainment industry. Over the course of its six seasons, the program had a total of 142 episodes. Following the great praise she received for her performance, she went on to appear as a guest star in a number of episodes of television shows, including “ABC Afterschool Special” and “Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles.” Within the latter, she played the role of “Kim / Bobbi Porter.”

In the television movie “When Secrets Kill,” which aired in 1997, she played the role of “Jenny Newhall.” She portrayed the character of Jill in “Babes in Toyland” and appeared as a guest voice actor on the Nickelodeon show “Hey Arnold.” She was considered for the part of “Penny Robinson” in the science fiction action movie “Lost in Space,” which was released in 1998. As a young performer, she is most known for her voice acting role as “Young Vidani” in the classic Disney movie “The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride.” This was one of her most acclaimed performances to date.

In 2002, she made appearances as a guest on popular television series such as “The Proud Family,” “Strong Medicine,” and “The Drew Carey Show.” The following year, she reprised her role as the voice of “Eliza Thornberry” in the animated series “Rugrats Go Wild.” In 2004, she starred as Brooke Ellison in the biopic “The Brooke Ellison Story,” which was produced for television. Following her successful audition, the part of Gretchen Wieners in the movie “Mean Girls” was offered to her.

She portrayed the role of “Olivia” in the ABC Family TV film “Hello Sister, Goodbye Life,” which was shown in 2006. Because her conduct is upsetting to her husband, he makes the decision to check her into a mental institution.

In the romantic comedy film ‘Slightly Single in L.A.,’ which she acted in and co-wrote, she gave the performance of ‘Dale Squire’ in 2013. Within the same year, she was selected to play the main role of “Maggie” in the film “Anything is Possible.” After that, she played the role of “Kristen” in the horror-thriller film “Scarecrow.”
