Nigerian actress, director, and businesswoman Joke Silva (listen) MFR has achieved a great deal of success in her career. She played a key role in the British-Canadian film The Hidden Laughing of Women, which was released in the same year, 1998, opposite Colin Firth and Nia Long. She first appeared on screen in Owulorojo in 1993, and then she appeared in Violated the following year in 1996.
In the British-Canadian film The Hidden Laughing of Women, where she starred alongside Colin Firth and Nia Long, she gave the performance of Nene in the year 1998. In spite of the fact that Silva’s husband held the position of chairman at the Lufodo Academy of Performing Arts, she decided to pursue a career there as the Director of Studies. The pair is the owner of several different assets, one of which is Lufodo Academy. She has worked as a curator for the Bank of Industry (BOI) in Theatre, Cinema, and Documentary as well as Poetry for the 2012 London Olympics.
