Jeremy John Wade is a British television presenter, author of books on fishing, “freshwater detective,” and biologist. He was born on March 23, 1956, in the United Kingdom. At that point, I wasn’t sure where they were, but I knew there must be some. When we were on another trip to India in 2005, we were in the foothills of the Himalayas. It was there that the idea for the television series River Monsters was conceived for the very first time. It had the makings of a great television show, and not just for individuals who were interested in fish and fishing; it could have been exciting for anyone.
