Iain Alan Sutherland Glen is a well-known Scottish actor born June 24, 1961. In the Resident Evil film series (2004–2016), he played the role of Dr. Alexander Isaacs/Tyrant in three of the films, and he played Jorah Mormont in the HBO fantasy television series Game of Thrones (2011–2019).

He received his schooling at the Edinburgh Academy, an independent school for boys that is now co-educational, and then continued his studies at the University of Aberdeen.
