Horatio Sanz was born on June 4th, 1969 in the capital city of Santiago, Chile. His formative years were spent in the Windy City. In addition to that, he performed stand-up comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade in Chicago and was a member of the Second City in Chicago.
When he joined the cast of the long-running sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, he did so as a featured player at the beginning of the 24th season. In doing so, he created history by becoming the first Latino cast member on the show.
