Hannah Montana is an American musical comedy television series that premiered on Disney Channel on March 24, 2006. The series follows a girl who lives a double life as an average adolescent school girl named Miley Stewart (played by Miley Cyrus) during the day. It’s a Laugh Productions, Inc. and Michael Poryes Productions are producing the show in association with Disney Channel Original Productions. It is filmed at Hollywood’s Sunset Bronson Studios. The original concept for this show was inspired by the That’s So Raven episode “Goin’ Hollywood,” which served as a backdoor pilot for a sitcom tentatively titled Better Days starring Alyson Stoner, in which a child star of a popular television show of the same name would attempt to attend a regular school. The episode “New Kid in School” is based on the same premise as the previous one

The role of Chloe Stewart was considered for former American Juniors finalist Jordan McCoy, future Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen, and pop and R&B singer JoJo (who declined the role). Miley Cyrus initially auditioned for the role of Lilly Romero, later changed to Lilly Truscott, but they felt she would be a better fit for the lead character, Chloe Stewart/Hannah Montana. When Miley Cyrus was cast in the role, Chloe Stewart was changed to Miley Stewart. Hannah Montana’s name has been changed several times. Anna Cabana, Samantha York, and Alexis Texas were three of the previous names. Hannah Montana fashion dolls, singing dolls, a Miley Stewart doll, and other merchandise were released by Play Along Toys in August 2007. In November, additional Hannah dolls were released, as well as Oliver, Lilly, and later Jake Ryan dolls.

They quickly rose to prominence as one of the most popular Christmas toys in 2007. The Daily Dispatch reports that the television series drew a global audience of 200 million viewers in 2008. such prominence that Disney convened a “80-person, cross-platform international meeting to discuss the future of Hannah Montana.” The meeting included representatives from each of Disney’s business segments. Sequence of initiation “The Best of Both Worlds” is the theme song for Hannah Montana. It was written by Matthew Gerrard and Robbie Nevil, produced by Gerrard, and performed by Miley Cyrus (as Hannah Montana). The song’s music was composed by John Carta, who also composed the music cues used to indicate scene changes and commercial breaks during the first season. By night, the song’s lyrics describe the basic prea famous pop singer Hannah Montana concealing her true identity from everyone except her closest friends and family. The song’s full-length version, which runs 2 minutes, 54 seconds, was released in October 2006 on the show’s soundtrack. The first two stanzas and the final two were used in the television version of the theme, which is only 50 seconds long.

“Just Like You” and “The Other Side of Me” were initially considered as possible opening theme songs before “Best of Both Worlds” was chosen. For the first two seasons, the opening sequence includes clips from episodes in which each cast member appears. The names of each cast member are “wiped” across the screen in a marquee-light style. The sequence then transitions to full-screen episode clips (the majority of the clips used in the Season One version were from early produced episodes), with the creators’ names appearing in the second-to-last clip. At the beginning and end of the sequence, the show’s title logo is displayed (the latter portion on the “concert stage” features Cyrus as her character Hannah Montana)

The only changes made to the season two sequence were the addition of Disney logos above the show’s title logo and the replacement of episode clips. Season three’s opening credits feature a revised version. Miley as herself and Hannah Montana star in the video, which is set in Times Square. The cast members’ and actresses’ names, as well as clips from the show, are displayed on a sort of marquee board, which also features Hannah Montana’s new wig and clothing style. The song currently being played is a remix of “The Best of Both Worlds,” which was originally recorded for (and featured in) Hannah Montana: The Movie. This was the first time in the history of a Disney Channel series that the opening title sequence was completely revamped.

omission of Mitchel Musso from the credit sequence, and the inclusion of clips from season four episodes. Lawsuits Buddy Sheffield sued Disney on August 23, 2007 over Hannah Montana, alleging that he invented the show but was never compensated by Disney. Sheffield claims in the lawsuit that he pitched a television series called “Rock and Roland” to Disney Channel in 2001, with the plot centred on a junior high student who secretly lived the life of a rock star. According to the lawsuit, Disney Channel executives initially approved of the concept but ultimately declined to produce the series. Rich Correll and Barry O’Brien, co-creators of Hannah Montana, sued Disney for $5 million in unpaid royalties on 2, 2008 and concluded on March 14, 2010.

The show was renewed for a fourth and final season on January 18, 2010, and conclu On January 16, 2011, the one-hour series finale aired. Despite receiving positive reviews from critics and audiences for the majority of its run, the series later came under fire for appearilly Ray Cyrus elaborated on the script’s details: “There will be many parallels [to the show], and given Miley’s authenticity and the authenticity of her music, we will maintain a great deal of that realism. However, I believe we can take the comedy a step further. And because it will be broadcast on a large screen, we will attempt to magnify everything.” The film’s estimated budget of $30 million was used to fund production. Miley spoke to Ryan Seacrest on the April 2 episode of The Miley & Mandy Show on YouTube about flying to Tennessee in “two weeks” and staying for several months. She continued by stating that numerous guest stars would appear, and she would ride horses and attend school.

Filming Filming in Los Angeles, California and Columbia, Tennessee began in April 2008.It began principal photography in May 2008 and concluded in July 2008. The film begins in Los Angeles, with locations such as The Forum, Franklin High School, and Santa Monica Beach. Several scenes were shot in Nashville, Tennessee, the hometown of Miley Stewart and her father, for the scene in which Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana returns home, with Fairground scenes filmed near the film’s conclusion.  A carnival scene was filmed at Smiley Hollow in Ridgetop, Tennessee, in which Peter Gunn’s character searches the crowd for the real Hannah. He discovers Jackson selling “Hannah wigs” and notices that everyone around him appears to be Hannah from the back, so he turns everyone around in search of the genuine article. [Additionally, musical numbers such as ”

The Climb” and “You’ll Always Find Your Way Home” were filmed. During the filming of these scenes, 500 paid extras and 1500 unpaid extras were on hand.  Miley appeared to be riding horses in several scenes. The Cool Springs Galleria Mall was used for a scene (south of Nashville). The scene was shot in the Belk store’s women’s shoe department. Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Williams, and Tyra Banks were all spotted in the scene, in which Hannah gets into a fight with Tyra over a pair of shoes

At Franklin High School, scenes were also filmed. The school served as a doppelganger for Miley and Lilly’s fictional Seaview High School. Accident On June 3, 2008, during the filming of the film, an accident occurred on set. A gale blew a projection screen into a Ferris wheel packed with passengers who were used as extras in the film. No one sustained an injury that required medical attention. “When it was caught in the wind, all of the cables came untangled. It [flew] to begin with “Brenda Blackford, an extra, told WKRN-TV in Nashville. “I was keeping an eye out for which corner of it would collide with the Ferris wheel, because it was unavoidable.” Miley Cyrus and her father Billy Ray were not present on set at the time of the accident.
