Georg Stanford Brown is a filmmaker and actor of Cuban descent. He is perhaps most recognized for his work in the television series “The Rookies,” in which he portrayed the part of Officer Terry Webster and the action comedy film. Next, he appeared in the 1970 science fiction thriller “Colossus: The Forbin Project,” directed by Joseph Sargent. The same year, he also starred as the main character in the action comedy movie “Wild in the Sky.” In 1977, he starred as one of the lead characters in the television miniseries “Roots.” The miniseries, which was mostly successful and garnered both a Golden Globe and a Peabody Award, was adapted from the book “Roots: The Saga of an American Family,” published in 1976.
