Genevieve O’Reilly is a well-known Irish actress. She was born on January 6, 1977. She is best recognized for her work as Mon Mothma in the Star Wars franchise, having represented the character in Revenge of the Sith, Rogue One, and the Disney+ series Andor and Ahsoka, in addition to her voice role as the character in Star Wars Rebels, and as Moira in Overwatch. She has also portrayed the character in Star Wars Rebels.

O’Reilly is well-known not only for her television appearances but also for her career in film. Some of her most notable roles were in the movie Avatar (2004), where she played the character Dash MacKenzie; The Young Victoria (2009), in which she portrayed Lady Flora Hastings; and Forget Me Not (2010), in which she showed Eve. In addition to her work in television, O’Reilly has a film career. O’Reilly made her debut in the character of Tarzan’s mother in the 2016 film adaptation of The Legend of Tarzan.

She is the oldest of four brothers and sisters. O’Reilly traveled to Sydney when he was twenty years old to attend the National Institute of Dramatic Art, from which he graduated in 2000.
