Eric Patrick Clapton was born to Patricia Molly Clapton and Edward Walter Fryer, a Canadian soldier from World War II, in Surrey, England. Eric and Boyd’s marriage ended in divorce in 1988, after he began drinking heavily and began dating Italian model Lory Del Santo. Conor was his son with Santo. Many relationships followed in his later years.
