Emre Aydin is without a doubt one of the most recognisable young musicians in Turkey. He was born in Isparta on February 2nd, 1981, yet he spent most of his life and school years in coastal places like Antalya and Izmir. It was in Izmir, Turkey, that he first established himself professionally. Aydin, who grew up with an acoustic guitar in his hands, spent many years performing before he became a household name.

The two Michelin-starred chefs are getting together for a “culinary jam session” after being recognised by Gault&Millau UAE. This unique menu is unlike a conventional four-hands meal, in which chefs take turns delivering their own dishes to customers. Instead, all of the dishes on this menu were developed together by Emre Aydin and Haddad.

Our partnership was made possible by the natural flow of our shared regard and admiration for one another. It has been a lot of fun combining our various culinary approaches, and we are all looking forward to the meal.
Emre Aydin remarked, “We have not known one other for a very long time, but we have built a really good relationship in a very short amount of time. I like his reasoning and I feel like we are on the same wavelength. I can not wait to collaborate with him in the kitchen to prepare a delicious meal for our visitors. Fun times are ahead for us.
Combining the talents of Emre Aydin, winner of a toque, and Gault&Millau UAE’s Future Great, whose menu features seafood and New York City-meets-Levant flavours, and Fadi Haddad, winner of the guide’s Future Great award, whose dishes highlight local products and his childhood in Dubai.
