As a consequence of this, when she was a teenager she moved to New York City and enrolled in the American Ballet School.

Later on, she also attended classes with Suzanne Farrell at the ‘Kennedy Center’ in Washington, District of Columbia. She was a student who paid attention in class and was known for her academic prowess. She carried on with her acting jobs and her dance lessons all the way through her teenage years. In order to successfully juggle her schooling and her career, she decided to complete her education at home and received her diploma in 1999.

Elisabeth Moss began her role as “Zoey Bartlet” in the television series “The West Wing” in the year 1999. This is considered to be one of her most recognizable and successful performances.
