Elaine Joyce, who was born Elaine Joyce Pinchot, is a well-known actress in the United States. Elaine Joyce Pinchot, who has a Hungarian heritage, was born in Cleveland, Ohio, as the daughter of Iliclina and Frank Pinchot. She is of Hungarian origin. Elaine received her diploma from Fort Hill High School in the year 1958. She participated in both the Junior and Senior High School Bands throughout her time in high school. She rang the bells repeatedly. Immediately after she completed her education, she found work in the control billing department of Potomac Edison. After some time, she was moved to the main customer service office, where she stayed until the year 1996 when she took early retirement.
Elaine looked forward to getting together with her high school and retirement pals for lunch on a regular basis. Elaine was active in both the Christ United Methodist Church and the Elliott Memorial Methodist Church while she was a member of both. In recent years, she has been a member of the Finishing Strong Senior Group at Freedom Christian Church, where she has been attending services.
Elaine found that caring to her flower beds brought her a lot of satisfaction. She participated in the annual Allegany County Fair by displaying a wide variety of flower species there. She was given a lot of honors, ribbons, and other forms of recognition for the many different kinds of flowers she grew. During the year 2016, she participated in both the Let’s Beautify Cumberland Tour and the Cumberland Gardens Tour.
She took pleasure in tending to her plants and was generous with the cuttings she offered to everyone who asked. Since 1971, Elaine and her husband Bernard have been avid participants in square dance. As a unit, they were able to forge a large number of fantastic connections and have memorable meals with their dear friends Dave Ludewig and Linda Roberts. They took part in a variety of dance events and were awarded several recognitions for their efforts. Yard sales and flea markets were two of her favorite places to visit, and she often accompanied her closest friend, Marna Morris. She looked forward to her annual family reunions and other social gatherings with her extended family and friends.
She had a lot of fun teaching the girls how to play card and domino games. She was almost always victorious. Elaine will be remembered forever for the thoughtfulness and charity she showed toward other people. Elaine is survived by her devoted husband, Bernard Rosewell Milburn, whom she wed on October 29, 1960; two sons, Bernard Quintin Milburn and wife, Lisa, and Rodney Wayne Milburn and wife, Valerie; three grandsons, Shawn Milburn, Travis Milburn, and Jaxon Milburn; and one granddaughter, Claire Milburn; in addition to other cousins and family members. Elaine passed away on November 1, 2018.
On Tuesday, February 28, from 4 to 7 o’clock in the evening, friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A. located at 202 Greene Street in Cumberland. On Wednesday, at eleven in the morning, the funeral ceremony will take place at the funeral home, with Pastor Leo Lavin III serving as the officiant.
