David James Elliott, a Canadian actor who was born on September 21, 1960, is best known for his role as the lead character Harmon Rabb Jr. on the television series JAG, which he played from 1995 until 2005. David William Smith was born to Patricia Smith (née Farrow), an office manager, and Arnold Smith, a heating and plumbing wholesale contractor, on September 21, 1960, in Milton, Ontario, Canada.
Elliott is the son of Patricia Smith (née Farrow), an office manager, and Arnold Smith. He was the middle child out of three male offspring. He left Milton District High School in his senior year to follow his dream of becoming a rock star and was a member of a band when he was a teenager. His goal was to become a famous musician.
