Danny gives a response On the late hours of December 7, 2021, only over a week and a half after Aaron posted his video, Danny published a rebuttal video on the second channel he maintains on YouTube. In this video, Danny vehemently rejects any type of abuse and provides a plethora of pieces of proof to support his claim. Danny also shared an audio tape of Aaron complaining about not receiving enough views and even insinuating that he intended to make drama shortly before he quit Danny’s team on July 6.
The clip was uploaded to Danny’s website and made public on July 6. Danny also reveals the bits of footage that prove Aaron’s purported accusations of “abuse,” revealing that they were actually simply a typical type of wrestling that Danny and his friend group commonly engaged in. Danny goes as far as to show clips of Aaron beating up other people in order to demonstrate that Aaron might be a hypocrite according to his own logic. Danny also used Aaron’s metaphor of him “feeling like an abused dog” to say that Aaron had nearly murdered Danny’s dog by leaving him locked in a cage that was hidden from view.
Aaron had said that he had been “feeling like an abused dog.” At the end of the video, Danny stated that he believed Aaron to be the most sociable member of the crew and that the fact that Aaron posted a video like this was disappointing but not shocking (considering the earlier voice clips). Almost immediately after that, there was a shift in public opinion, as Danny was able to reclaim tens of thousands of subscribers, but Aaron was able to lose thousands of subscribers as a result of the poor reception his video received.
Additionally, Keemstar produced a third video regarding the matter, in which he stated that Danny had been cleared of any wrongdoing, and many other people apologized to Danny. allegations of improper grooming On December 10, just after the Sunhatkid drama came to a conclusion, Keemstar published a DramaAlert video to her channel with the headline “Danny Duncan (She was 14) Grooming Allegations! – FULL STORY!.”
In it, he conducts an interview with a young woman who claims that Danny pursued inappropriate romantic relationships with her when she was just 14 years old. As soon as people discovered that she did not present any evidence that Danny had actually preyed on her, they began to question the veracity of her statements. She created her own video, which received a reception that was largely unfavorable.
After two days, on the 12th, a second DramaAlert video was posted in which Keemstar interviews an alleged second victim who stated that she was groomed by Danny when she was 17 years old.
