By his given name, Christopher Isaac Stone, an American entrepreneur known as Biz Stone was born on March 10, 1974 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Together with Evan Williams and Jack Dorsey, Stone co-founded Twitter in 2006, which is an online microblogging service. Stone spent one year at each of the universities located in Boston (Northeastern University and the University of Massachusetts) before beginning his career in the design department of the publishing company Little, Brown and Company.
Between the years 1999 and 2001, he served in the role of creative director at Xanga, a community of bloggers that he had helped establish.
