Ben Platt Bio

Ben Platt is a singer and actor from the United States. In addition to his role as Benji Applebaum in the comedy picture “Pitch Perfect,” he has also been in many other films (2012). Benjamin Schiff Platt was born on September 24, 1993, in Los Angeles, California, to Julie and Marc Platt. He is the son of Julie and Marc Platt. He is the fourth child of five siblings, making him the fourth oldest.A well-known producer in the entertainment industry, Marc Platt is the father of Marc Platt. The Whitney Cummings comedy film ‘The Female Brain,’ in which he acted with Whitney Cummings and Sofia Vergara, was released in 2017. In 2017, he also made an appearance in an episode of the popular television comedy ‘Will & Grace’. In the same year, he was signed to the record label ‘Atlantic Records.’ On January 28, 2018, Ben sang Leonard Bernstein’s ‘Somewhere’ at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, which took place in Los Angeles, California. On March 24, 2018, he appeared alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda at the ‘March for Our Lives’ protest in Washington, D.C., where they performed together.

In 2018, he participated in the comedy film ‘Drunk Parents,’ in which he played the father. Among those who appear in the film are Alec Baldwin, Salma Hayek, and Jim Gaffigan.
