Jessica “Jess” Bravura is a YouTuber from the United States. She is best known by her online alias, Aphmau (she originally went by the name Challenge Accepted Inc.). Jess was born in Houston, Texas, in the United States. Over the course of her career, she has been well-known for many other types of material; but, within the gaming world, she is most well-known for the Minecraft content that she generates.

Jessica’s love of video games helped her make a lot of friends while she was in primary school. However, she was often criticized for being “too friendly” since she would give her lunch money to other students if they were caught without any or had forgotten their money. As a result of other people taking advantage of this fact and beginning to bully her, she became more reclusive during her primary school years.
During the horrible terrorist incident that took place on September 11, Jessica’s father began to worry about her safety. As a result, he decided to take her out of school so that she may be home-schooled for one year during her time spent in middle school. She made the decision to start wearing cat ears during the year that she went back to middle school. In addition to this, she ended herself in an uneasy relationship with a man. When things began to feel awkward, he ended his relationship with her in front of the whole class.
From 2012-2020, Jessica has been a fan of Minecraft, and in that time she has been able to effectively alter and broaden the scope of the Minecraft material she produces during the course of her career. When Jason and Jessica were just starting out in their careers, they and a number of their friends had considered the possibility of launching a channel on YouTube. Following the departure of two members due to problems in their personal lives, the channel was left with only Jessica and Jason.
In 2005, Jessica first interacted with Jason in the virtual world of Final Fantasy XI, which she began playing some time later. They spent a lot of time playing together, which contributed to their strong bond. They finally began dating one other and made the decision to get to know each other better in person. Because Jessica was located in Texas and Jason was based in New Jersey, she made the choice to relocate to New Jersey so that she could be with Jason. While Jason and Jessica were waiting for their baby, they passed the time by watching a lot of YouTube channels and were impressed by the concept of earning a living doing something that one enjoyed doing for a hobby. Jessica and Jason had discussed the possibility of launching a YouTube channel, with Jessica acting as the host and Jason taking care of the technical aspects of the channel. Jessica had already intended to be a stay-at-home parent.
Jess gave birth to their son, a boy they named Joseph, through a cesarean section on the 12th of July, 2012. Jess and Jason launched their own YouTube channel with the help of Jess’s high school pals Calvin (Castor), and Chris, once they had gotten used to their new roles as parents (Satiel). However, in order to attend to their own personal matters, each one of them was forced to quit the channel. However, they do continue to engage in shared gaming experiences on occasion.
At this time, Jess, Jason, and their four children may be found residing in Bellevue, Washington, which is where they relocated to at the beginning of 2016. In addition, Jessica and Jason are the proprietors of their own production company known as Cat Face. After a wait of almost a year, Jessica and Jason learned that she was pregnant with their second child, a daughter named Julia, who was delivered through cesarean section once again on January 21, 2014. Julia is now 8 years old.
Jess made the happy announcement that she was expecting the couple’s third child in September of 2018, and on May 12, 2019, she gave birth to their daughter Jennifer. As of the year 2020, Jess has revealed that she is now expecting their fourth child via a community post on YouTube and an Instagram post, and she named the baby Jessabelle. Jess gave birth to Jessabelle on October 21, 2020. She explains that cesarean deliveries were necessary for her owing to the petite form of her body in relation to the size of her children once they were born.
They changed the name of the channel to Aphmau Gaming, and now, eight years after the channel’s first debut, Jess and Jason have managed to increase the channel’s subscriber base to 6.3 million people and it’s still growing! In the year 2020, Jessica and Jason are presently co-owners of a company that is known as CatFace. The mission of the firm is to assist her in the production of material for her YouTube channel.
