Amy Siskind was born on 16 December 1965. Following the publication of the list of weekly recounts on social media, she was named to the Politico 50 list for the year 2017, and in 2018, she published her first book, titled The List: A Week-by-Week Reckoning of Trump’s First Year in Office. In 1987, she graduated from Cornell University with a degree in economics. Later, in 1992, she received her Master of Business Administration degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Her area of study at Stern was international business and finance.
She was the person who read the script for The Weekly List and presided over the microphone. The Library of Congress in the United States of America has been compiling weekly lists of information regarding the Trump administration. My most recent work, The Weekly List, has made me renowned all over the world as the lady who is responsible for writing the first draft of the history of the United States of America under Trump.
This is due to the fact that it was published. As a result of my work, I was selected for inclusion in the POLITICO 50 for 2017, and the book that resulted from that selection, THE LIST, was a bestseller in the New York Times and a Washington Post Best Book of 2018. The Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania and the Library of Congress are both working to archive the lists and the top-rated podcasts that are associated with them.
As part of this project and my activism for democracy, I have not only helped raise millions of dollars for Democratic candidates running for the Senate and the House of Representatives, but I have also served as a mentor and hosted events for hundreds of women, particularly women of color, who are running for office at the municipal, state, and federal levels. These women seek election to office at all three levels. In addition to this, I was in charge of the planning for the 2019 We The People March, which took place in 65 various cities throughout the country and saw more than 10,000 people make their way to the United States Capitol. The vote to commence impeachment proceedings against Trump was eventually held in the House after three days of debate.
In 2008, I was a part of the team that helped develop The New Agenda, a national organization for women who are concerned about issues such as gender inequality in the workplace, sexism in the media, and sexual assault on college campuses, among other things. I continue to serve as President of the organization, and as such, I am in a position to speak for and provide guidance to young women all over the country.
My successful career on Wall Street came before my involvement in activism. At the age of 31, I became the first female managing director at Wasserstein Perella, and before that, I ran the trading floors at Morgan Stanley and Imperial Capital, where I was a partner.
Amy Siskind is a national advocate for the advancement of women’s and girls’ rights to self-determination. Formerly a high-ranking executive on Wall Street, she is now the head of a statewide group known as The New Agenda. This organization takes on issues such as economic equality, discrimination based on gender, and sexual assault on college campuses, to name a few. Amy is now an active advocate for equality, in addition to continuing her work as one of the most observant and outspoken critics of our faltering but not yet halted democracy. She continues her work as one of the most vocal critics of our democracy.
When she isn’t collecting lists, Amy is the driving force behind The New Agenda’s annual events and frequently offers presentations to college students and young professionals about becoming financially independent and advancing their careers. She is a respected member of Cornell University’s President’s Council of Cornell Women and Cornell University Council, and she has been honored for her work on behalf of the LGBTQ community by the Westchester County Legislators. Additionally, she is a member of Cornell University’s University Council. Amy was selected for inclusion in the POLITICO 50: The Weekly List project.
The first 52 weeks of lists were compiled into a book that was released in March 2018 and given the title “The List: A Week-by-Week Reckoning of Trump’s First Year.” In June of 2018, Siskind accompanied the publication of the lists with the launch of a podcast entitled The Weekly List. The Podcast, “The Weekly List,” as well as the lists themselves are being archived by the Library of Congress.
Siskind, a pioneering specialist and executive on Wall Street, is the person you should go to if you want to find out who the most knowledgeable person is on the market for trading distressed debt. After that, she moved on to become the head of the trading departments at Morgan Stanley and Imperial Capital, both of which she eventually became a partner at. Siskind hung up his hat on Wall Street in 2006, after having spent the previous 20 years there.
Siskind brought her daughter to visit Clinton in 2006, when Clinton was running for re-election to the United States Senate. Siskind had voted for Clinton in the prior election cycle, so she brought her daughter to see Clinton. In August of 2008, Siskind, along with thirty other women who supported Hillary Clinton and asserted that sexism and misogyny played a part in the election that year, co-founded The New Agenda in her living room.
