Amy Paffrath has a reputation for rushing through every project she works on. In fact, she was born just nine minutes after her mother Mary arrived at the hospital. Her parents, Mark and Mary Paffrath, raised her in St. Louis. Christy, Mark, Steven, Stacey, Matt, and Brittany are her six siblings. With limited resources, the Paffrath pack learned to entertain themselves on a budget. At family gatherings, the energetic Paffraths put on plays and newscasts.

Amy’s mother enrolled her in ballet, tap, and jazz classes when she was three years old in order to help her children channel their creative energy. Amy, when she was younger, loved to perform and was always eager to learn new moves. She began gymnastics at the age of nine and went on to win numerous awards and medals in competitions. Thomas-Aquinas Mercy High School in Florissant, Missouri. She began her career in the media department, both in front of the camera (on AM in the morning) and behind the scenes (producing and editing). In 1997, Amy signed with Toni’s International Models. The agency assisted her in landing a number of local jobs, including runway shows and print ads for catalogs.
