40 Glocc is the stage name of American rapper Lawrence Carl Demetrious White, who was born in Colton, California. White is better known by his stage name, 40 Glocc. Greenville, Texas, is where White first made his home. When he was 10 years old, he and his mother relocated to a number of cities and towns across the state of California before finally settling down in the city of Colton, which is located in the Inland Empire. In the late fall of 2010, 40 Glocc linked rapper Ras Kass with his label Zoo Life and signed him as a new artist. In the same year, he issued a downloadable street album under the name “COPS,” which had appearances from a variety of artists, including Jayo Felony, Tip Toe, Tony Yayo, and others. Graveyard Shift is the name of an album that was released in 2011 by 40 Glocc and Spider Loc. The following year, he issued his debut album under his own name as a solo artist.
