Rodger Bumpass Bio

Rodger Bumpass was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA, on November 20, 1951. His parents, Virginia and Carroll Bumpass were the proprietors of Bumpass Cleaners and Dryers at the time. First, he received his secondary education at Little Rock Central High School, and then he continued his education at Arkansas State University. In 1976, he was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from the school, where he majored in radio and television while also taking some lessons in the theater. Rodger Bumpass is a well-known voice actor and actor from the United States. Squidward Tentacles, the antagonist in the cartoon series “SpongeBob SquarePants,” was voiced by him.

Bumpass has accumulated close to 700 film credits up to this point. After spending his high school years in the city where he was born, he graduated from Little Rock Central. After that, he enrolled in Arkansas State University with the objective of earning a degree in the field of radio and television. During that time, he worked as a DJ at a local radio station.

In the year 2019, Bumpass tied the knot with Angela Ann VanZandt, who served as the first president of Women in Film. The ceremony took place in the state of Arkansas. On January 19, law enforcement officials in Burbank, California, detained the actor on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. However, he was released shortly after making bail in the amount of $15,000.
