Warner Bros. Records signed them in 2013 after they had gained more recognition on a global scale. In late 2015, the band released a second album simply titled Blue Album. Three songs from the project, “Mother Said,” “Strip No More,” and “7 Years,” all peaked at No. 1 on the Danish singles list. Like the former, the latter is a worldwide phenomenon, having topped the charts in countries as diverse as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
It was included on the reissue of their 2016 debut studio album around the world, “Lukas Graham (Blue Album),” which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. Graham grew up in Christiania, a free and independent part of Copenhagen. Christiania is known for Pusher Street, where pot is sold, but the locals generally frown upon more extreme substances and promote healthier activities like yoga and the arts.
