He convinced Khalid ‘that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Khalid then decided to film a series of short videos that would help promote messages of love, peace, tolerance, and acceptance — subjects to the common man could relate to. ‘It would be the first time an Emirati has done a program like this,’ he explains.

‘I pitched it to every TV network but they all turned it down. Since I didn’t have any other choice, I resorted to Facebook.’ Within one year, he had a viewership of 1.7 million people.
