Kanayo O. Kanayo, born Anayo Modestus Onyekwere MFR on March 1, 1962, is a well-known actor and lawyer from Nigeria. His full name is Anayo Modestus Onyekwere MFR, although he is better known by his stage name, Kanayo O. Kanayo. In 2006, he was honored with the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in the movie Family Struggle. He received this honor in 2006 when it was given to him. His formative years were spent in the city of Aba, which is found in the state of Abia; he attended St. Joseph Elementary School there during that time.

However, he is best known for playing the character of a villain in these films, notably in movies regarding occultic activities. He has been in a number of projects in Nollywood, such as Lion Heart and the sitcom Professor John Bull, but he is best known for playing the role of a villain.
