Jerry Springer was born on 30 September 1991. The parents of Jerry Springer, Margot, and Richard Springer, were both from the United Kingdom. Jerry Springer is their son. His place of birth was in London. During World War II, he was born in the London underground station that was being used as a safe haven from German bombing. This station was the Highgate station. Springer was brought up in East Finchley by his father, who owned a shoe store, and his mother, who worked as a bank teller. In 1949, the Springer family traveled across the ocean to the United States, where they eventually made their home in the borough of Queens.
He attended Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, for his undergraduate education and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science there. Springer received his Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University in the latter part of that year, 1968. Following his graduation from law school, Springer ran across Robert F. Kennedy, then a senator for New York, at a social event. Unfortunately, his time spent working for John F. Kennedy’s presidential campaign was cut short by the killing of the former president.
He suffered severe emotional trauma as a result of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and he made the decision to carry on supporting the political ideals held by Kennedy. Springer got his start in the legal field working for the firm of Frost & Jacobs in Cincinnati, Ohio. Springer was a driving force toward lowering the voting age from 21 to 18 years old while he was working at the law firm.
