Gonzalo Higuaín Bio

Gonzalo Higuaín was born on December 10, 1987. His parents, Jorge Higuain and Nancy Zacarias brought him to Argentina when he was 10 months old, despite the fact that he had been born in France. His mother is a painter and his father is a professional football player. He is the middle of three brothers, Nicolas Higuain, Lataro Higuain, and Federico Higuain.

In his private life, he has captured the hearts of millions of followers, including many women, thanks to his successful football career. He also has an extensive dating history. In the present, though, he is dating a stunning woman named Lara Wechsler. Gonzalo Gerardo Higuain is a professional Argentine footballer who mostly plays as a striker. The two are frequently seen together at parties and public places. He is currently on loan from Juventus to AC Milan and also plays for the national squad of Argentina.

He spent the first five or six years of his professional career in the youth ranks with River Plate. River Plate, Real Madrid, Napoli, Juventus, and Argentina were among his primary teams.

Gonzalo started his career in River Plate and has since gone on to great success. After that, he switched to Real Madrid, where he went on to achieve tremendous success, winning three La Liga titles and scoring 107 goals in 190 league games.

However, in 2013, he moved to Italian club Napoli, where he has made respectable performances, including winning the Coppa Italia and the Capocannoniere title, the latter of which apparently tied him to Gino Rossetti’s 87-year-old record. Higuain is a player who has been an all-around performer and has always been consistent with his form, which is why he has scored goals in nearly every tournament in which he has participated.

Higuain, an Argentine football player, announced his retirement from international play in an interview with Fox Sports Argentina on March 28. He began his career at Real Madrid, where he scored 122 goals throughout the course of his time there; since then, he has added 47 goals in 147 games for SSC Napoli.

Argentine striker Gonzalo Gerardo Higuain now plies his trade at Italian club Juventus. Gonzalo Higuain was born in France but later obtained Argentine citizenship in 2007. He is known by his nickname “El Pipita” or “Pipa,” after his father Jorge, who was also a footballer. He began his professional career with River Plate of Argentina, but in January 2007 he was transferred to Real Madrid for €12 million. During his stay in Spain, he helped his team win three La Liga championships and set a league record with 107 goals scored in 190 games.

In July 2013, he signed a €40 million contract with Napoli of Italy. He scored 36 goals in the league during the 2015–16 season, tying Gino Rossetti’s 87-year-old record for goals scored in an Italian Serie A season, and earning him the Capocannoniere award. After his record-breaking goal-scoring performance in Naples, Italian champions Juventus signed him for €90 million in 2016. This transfer fee was the biggest ever paid by an Italian side and the highest of any player switching within any domestic league.

In his first two years with Juventus, the team won the Serie A and Italian Cup titles respectively, and in 2017, they advanced to the final of the Champions League. He was on loan at A.C. last year. Milan, then to Chelsea in the 2019 January transfer window, and finally back to Juventus in the summer.

With Argentina, he has played in three FIFA World Cups and three Copa América competitions, including the 2014 World Cup and the 2015 and 2016 Copa América Centenario, all of which his team finished in second place. As Argentina was eliminated in the round of 16 at the 2018 World Cup, he was no longer included in the team’s roster, hence he retired from international play in March of 2019. He played in 75 international matches for his country, scoring 31 times.

Higuain was one of the most productive strikers in the game, with 36 goals in the 2015–16 season, breaking the record previously held by Gunnar Nordahl by one goal; in the 2019–20 season, Ciro Immobile equaled Higuain’s record. His €90 million transfer from Napoli to Juventus in July 2016 was the priciest in Serie A history at the time. At the age of eleven, he signed with River Plate, where he spent the next decade playing in the lower divisions and, for two seasons, the First Division of Argentine football. In addition, he was picked for the All-American Ideal Team. He was purchased by Real Madrid for 12 million euros in December 2006 and went on to win multiple trophies with the club.

Famous Argentinean forward who scored a ton of goals while playing for Real Madrid and then moved on to Napoli. Juve signed him in 2016. In 2009, he was called up to play for the Argentine national team. Since his father was a professional soccer player, the family moved to France for his birth. Before to his first birthday, he moved back to Argentina. He was a part of three La Liga championship teams and one Copa del Rey championship team during his career with Real Madrid. He joined Juventus that year.

From 1976 through 1992, Jorge Higuain Sr. played club soccer for seven different teams. Two of his brothers are older, while the third is younger than he is. On May 29, 2005, the Argentine football player made his professional debut for River Plate, an Argentine professional football club, against Gimnasia y Esgrima. On February 12, 2006, he made his debut in the League with a goal against the Argentine team Banfield. He started 35 games for River Plate and scored 13 goals.

In a friendly match against Guatemala in February 2008, Gonzalo Higuain made his debut for the Argentine national football team. He contributed two goals to a 5-0 victory for his club in that game. He made 31 goals in 75 games for Argentina’s national team.
