Dana Jae Schwartz was born in the United States on January 7, 1993. She currently resides there. While Schwartz was employed as a writer at The New York Observer, she addressed an open letter to her employer Jared Kushner, who was also the recipient of the letter. In the letter, she voiced her disapproval of her employer’s father-in-law, Donald Trump, for using his Twitter feed to share content that originated from anti-Semitic sources. In response to the letter that Schwartz sent, Kushner published his own open letter to the public.

Schwartz is the creator of the podcast known as Noble Blood, and he also acts in the capacity of host for the show. The podcast mostly focuses on recounting stories from the lives of various historical royalty. The podcast debuted at the highest position possible on the podcasting charts maintained by iTunes. The memoir written by Schwartz and titled Choose Your Own Disaster was made available to the general public in the month of June in 2018. It was also the release month for a book that came out in November 2019 and was narrated by the character of the “GuyInYourMFA” Twitter account. The book featured drawings by New Yorker cartoonist Jason Adam Katzenstein. The fourth book written by Schwartz, titled Anatomy, A Love Story, was made available to the general public on January 18, 2021.
